4-Color Process Screen-Printing Technique
4-Color Process is used to create a multicolor design (usually photographic images) using four inks: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (also known as CMYK). These colors can be used in combination and in varying degrees of transparency to create any color.
This process works best on light-colored shirts because the transparent CMYK inks tend to pick up the hue of the shirt underneath them.
However, 4-color process printing is a Superior specialty, and our team is expert in printing on dark fabrics as well as light. Our expert in-house art team understands that good color separations are key in producing a good print. Our screeners know the under-base is crucial for dark prints.
Due to the complexity of the artwork, additional art charges may apply.Â
